A G&G pump control panel starts and protects one to six pumps from float switches or a 4-20mA level sensor, with automatic duty changeover, a high level alarm and volt-free signals for BMS or telemetry. Standard wastewater panels are on the shelf for next-day despatch; everything else is built to order in 10 to 20 working days.
The range
Four families cover most pumping stations. All share the same components, the same wiring conventions and the same drawings, so an engineer who has installed one has installed them all.
- Basix: the standard float-switch wastewater panel, single or three phase, DOL, star/delta or capacitor start.
- Basix View: Basix with a touchscreen and a 4-20mA level input for radar or hydrostatic sensors.
- Telemetrix and Telemetrix View: the same panel with remote monitoring built in and free email alerts.
- Inverter panels: one to six pumps with drives pre-programmed for flow-limited discharges.
Built from components that last
Schneider enclosures, contactors and overloads. Socomec isolators. WAGO lever terminals. Where the old stepping relay used to burn out we fit a universal stepping relay, and back it with a lifetime warranty. The isolator shaft has a guide on the back of the door so it lines up with the handle every time.
Every panel is pre-wired, labelled and tested before it leaves Stoke-on-Trent, and packed in bespoke packaging so it arrives as it left.
Level control options
All wastewater panels can be specified with four kinds of level sensing.
- Float switches: most pump stations, 1 to 20m depth, cheapest and easiest to install.
- Probes: very narrow or confined chambers, 0.2 to 1.2m, no moving parts.
- Hydrostatic sensor: hot or fatty wastewater from restaurants and hotels, 0.2 to 10m, needs a vented cable.
- Radar or ultrasonic: corrosive or fatty liquids and chemical tanks, 1.5 to 20m, no contact with the liquid.
