The panel people
We have built electrical control panels since 1998. Today we are a family-run manufacturer with a 10,000 sq ft factory in Stoke-on-Trent, offices in Milton Keynes and Farnborough, and customers who order the same panels from us month after month.
What we do
We design and build control panels, and we programme the PLCs and HMIs that go in them. We do not install. Our customers are pump companies, BMS integrators, M&E contractors and equipment manufacturers who need panels that are the same every time and arrive when promised.
Most of what we build is standardised: the Basix and Telemetrix wastewater ranges, booster set panels, Evometrix BMS panels. Bespoke work is built to the same conventions, on the same components, by the same people.
Every panel ships with a wiring diagram, a test certificate and a serial number, and is built to BS EN 61439-2 and BS EN 60204-1. Read about our standards.
Our story
1998
G&G Controls is founded and starts building pump control panels.
2013
Expansion into OEM manufacturing and long-term relationships with equipment makers.
2018
The business is taken on by three brothers, each bringing operations, design and sales.
2021
The BMS panel division launches for building services contractors.
2022
The Farnborough design office opens as a dedicated hub for development.
2023
Production moves to a new 10,000 sq ft factory in Stoke-on-Trent. Adoptable panels for water authorities added.
2024
Telemetrix launches: remote monitoring built into a wastewater panel with free email alerts. Strategic partnerships with BMS integrators.
2025
Evometrix and the Gateway panel bring standardised BMS panels to market, cutting lead times in half. Living Wage employer accreditation.
How we build and test
Four steps, the same for every panel
From a drawing you have approved to a tested panel with its paperwork in the door.
Step 01
Design
Your pump schedule, points list or specification becomes a drawing on our standard platform. Same components, same conventions, every time. You approve it before we cut metal.
Step 02
Build
Wired by our own engineers in Stoke-on-Trent on Schneider, Socomec and WAGO components, from stock held on the shelf for the standard ranges.
Step 03
Test
Every panel is powered up, function tested and insulation tested before it leaves. The test certificate and serial number go in the door pocket with the wiring diagram.
Step 04
Despatch
Packed in bespoke packaging so it arrives as it left. Stock panels ordered before noon are on site the next working day; built-to-order panels in 10 to 20 working days.
